Gregory Cunningham –

Founder

Gregory Cunningham developed Ground Care Landscaping LLC in 2004.  A native of the Merrimack Valley, Gregory attended Central Catholic High School. During this time he would work summers in the landscaping field; learning the trade.  Following high school Gregory attended Merrimack College to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Business.

As he did throughout high school, Gregory continued working in different fields of landscaping during his summer vacations. He expanded his knowledge of everything from plants to grounds maintenance and landscape construction. The more he learned about the many aspects of landscape contracting, the more excited he became about the prospects of providing landscaping services in his own business.

Gregory’s passion for being outdoors, his knowledge of business,  and his enthusiasm for a challenge has grown Ground Care Landscaping to the company it is today. His dedication to customer service involves keeping the client in mind at all times.  Gregory has lived in the Merrimack Valley area his entire life.

Virginia Simmons –

Office Manager

Virginia is the office manager at Ground Care Landscaping. The friendly and straightforward atmosphere attracted her to the company. She has worked in the community for the past 10 years, and brings her experience learned in customer service and finance.

Virginia is active in the local community and volunteers in the Haverhill school system and with the Bradford Cub Scouts. She is also an avid gardener herself.

Jovin Ciarletta –

Manager

Jovin Ciarletta is a manager at Ground Care Landscaping. He is a graduate of Essex Agricultural & Technical High School with a concentration in ornamental horticulture. Jovin continued his education at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

Jovin has been in the landscaping business for fifteen years. He is well rounded in landscape design and construction with a strong knowledge of native plants. He is a firm believer in hand pruning.

Jovin enjoys developing a big picture landscape design and works closely with the customer to make their ideas come to life.

Jovin is an Eagle Scout and is still active in the scout community. He is part of a local mountain climbing group, and has a passion for all outdoor sports and activities.
